Meet Silvina, the Creative Soul Behind The Glam Bijoux
Hello there! I’m Silvina, the designer, maker, and creator of The Glam Bijoux. I am originally from Argentina and In 2012, my husband and I made the life-changing decision to move to Cheltenham, UK, where we embarked on a new chapter of our lives together. It was here that my creative journey truly began to flourish, inspired by the beauty and charm of our surroundings.
My journey into the world of design and crafting began long before The Glam Bijoux came to life. As a young girl, my passion for flowers blossomed when I delved into the enchanting world of floriography through books. Discovering that flowers had their own language, capable of conveying hidden messages, ignited a spark within me. I was fascinated by the idea of creating flowers with soul and heart, where each bloom carried its own unique message.
Before immersing myself in the world of clay flowers, I began creating sugar flowers for cakes, cupcakes, cookies, macaroons, meringues, and more. Drawing inspiration from this experience, I stumbled upon Japanese clay, which allowed me to create lifelike replicas of flowers that would last forever.
I continued my learning by attending online master classes with renowned masters like Nicholas Lodge and Alan Dunn, absorbing invaluable knowledge. In 2020, I joined Nicholas Lodge’s design team—an unforgettable experience. I’m forever grateful for encountering such an incredible person who, though sadly departed, will always hold a special place in my heart.
At The Glam Bijoux, I specialize in crafting lifelike flowers that capture the essence of natural beauty. From dahlias and peonies to daffodils, orchids, tulips, succulents, poppies, calla lilies, roses, lilies, and many more, each flower is meticulously crafted to perfection, ensuring that it not only looks realistic but also carries a meaningful message just for you.
I’ve collaborated with industry professionals and earned features in wedding magazines for my lifelike clay creations.
